Alliance Scale Offers a Variety of Solutions for Your Business Needs

What do you think of when you hear the word “accuracy?” Do you think of facts and figures in the news? Do you think of weight and the amount of something you’re purchasing in an effort to make sure you’re getting a fair deal? Whatever the context, “accuracy” implies reliability. If weighing and measuring falls into your business in some way, whether it’s putting together shipments of products, ensuring your Accuracy Leads to Better Businessproduct meets state regulations, or ensuring the chemical components of something during manufacturing, you want your business to be known as reliable and accurate.

Accuracy

Analytical balances are available for laboratory work and research where a sophisticated level of accuracy is required, meaning down to a 10th of a milligram or finer. If moisture levels are a question in your lab work or research, our powerful moisture balances make measuring moisture content easy with a number of different models, such as:

  • Simple set-up
  • Uniform, quick-dry samples
  • Storage for up to 100 methods
  • Quick and accurate recall for up to 1,000 statistical analytics
  • Touchscreen displays
  • Easy cleaning
  • Many more features perfect for your unique needs

Save Money by Saving Time

When large quantities are measured on the manufacturing floor, the kind of industrial scale you equip your team with can make all the different in efficiency during your process. Check out our case study where we worked with a customer to analyze just how much their industrial scale had an impact on their business—and provided a repeatable, easy solution.

Compliance

Some industries have certain requirements when it comes to your weighing equipment, so it’s important to use reliable products with a reliable service team. Since cannabis is sold in quantities based on weight and is highly regulated regardless of which state a dispensary is located, stringent regulations are placed on equipment within the industry, including the scales used, to ensure proper accuracy. Dispensaries are required to use only “legal for trade” scales certified by the National Conference of Weights and Measures (NTEP). The certification process through NTEP can take months, as they rigorously test scales for both accuracy and reliability.

Scales must also be classified as a “class II balance” and scales must be accurate to 0.01 grams. The final stipulation is that all states require dispensaries to certify their scales before use, either by servicing from state representatives or a certified local scale company. Additionally, the scales must be maintained and serviced at least once a year. It’s important to check with your state’s specific local requirements to remain in compliance.  We have dozens of NTEP certified class II balance scales that are accurate up to 0.01 grams.
